MedRhythms is looking for a strategic thinker with a bias toward execution to lead key strategic and business development efforts. This person will be the executive lead on crafting the commercial launch and revenue generation strategy for the MedRhythms platform. The initial focus will be to build the plan related to the MedRhythms Stride launch in the post-stroke market.  Additional markets include but are not limited to Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury and Alzheimer’s Disease.


  • Reports to the CEO, will contribute to board level materials and present to the board.

  • Build a comprehensive and integrated commercial strategy for MedRhythms products and services, incorporating strategic and financial analyses

  • Source potential business development and customer opportunities through existing contact list or ability to quickly make contacts in the industry.

  • Execute deals end-to-end including pitching, negotiation, and ongoing management

  • Drive initial prescriptions and buy in from KOLs in post-stroke

  • Work closely with the other members of the Executive Team team to facilitate successful execution of partnerships and strategic initiatives

  • Continually refine the G2M based on market feedback to increase the positioning of MedRhythms across prioritized customer segments as laid out by executive team


  • More than 7-10 years experience in strategy, management consulting, and/or business development functions. Pharma experience is a plus and healthcare experience is a must.

  • Experienced in developing, evolving, and executing on strategic and tactical plans

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Track record of identifying, negotiating and closing complex contracts from small innovative companies to larger healthcare

  • Ability to own outcomes, learn quickly, and creatively blaze a trail

  • Self-driven, motivated, and possess grit and hustle.


Nice to Have

  • Small and emerging company experience.

  • Ideally has had a diverse range of experiences.

  • Experience with neuro-injury, neuro-disease, or aging in place related products

  • Relevant network within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and MedTech companies

  • Knowledge of provider and payers in rehabilitation

  • Experience in healthcare clinical, reimbursement, or market access

  • Reside on the East Coast with easy accessibility to MedRhythms HQ (either Greater Boston or Portland, ME)
