MedRhythms Wins “Most Innovative” Company at Health Catalyst Health Analytics Summit

September 23, 2019

PORTLAND, Maine - MedRhythms, a Portland, Maine-based digital therapeutics company, was recognized as the “most innovative” company at the Digital Innovation Showcase during Health Catalyst’s 2019 Health Analytics Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Digital Innovation Showcase is designed to highlight “the most innovative 3rd party digital healthcare solutions,” and the innovation award is given to that company which most embodies the spirit of innovation and the mission of revitalizing healthcare through digital solutions.

“We are honored to be selected for this award at the Health Analytics Summit. It is especially an honor because Health Catalyst and its ecosystem are committed to putting patient outcomes first, a priority that MedRhythms shares,” said Owen McCarthy, President and Co-Founder of MedRhythms.

The need for evidence-based digital therapeutics to improve the state of healthcare and the lives of millions will continue driving MedRhythms to uphold the core values of this award - innovation and meeting a large, unmet need.

MedRhythms partnered with Health Catalyst earlier this year to develop its first product, a digital therapeutic for post-stroke walking rehabilitation. In this collaboration, Health Catalyst will leverage real-world data and analytic applications to identify potential patients, find where this product fits in the clinical workflow, track outcomes, and record reductions in rehabilitation costs while MedRhythms builds the product itself.
